Job Description

General Characteristics (Job Summary)

• Supervise the work of logistics to ensure that department goals and objectives are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review logistics documents such as Packing list, Commercial invoice and Certificate of Origin.
• Manage the selection process of logistics forwarder.
• Manage the delivery process of material from shipping, transit, custom clearance, and delivery to site.
• Control and coordinate with forwarder, other logistics partner, custom, and government entity, if any.
• Manage and ensure the material to be delivered to site on time without delay.
• Manage and expedite the readiness of material by vendor.

Experience

• 6+ years of experience.
• Significant knowledge of logistics.
• Experience in oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants.
• Engineering and Construction Company working experience.

Skills and knowledge

• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access.
• Ability to review logistics documents.
• Ability to control and coordinate with forwarder, other logistics partner, custom, and government entity, if any.
• Familiarity with various logistics systems, especially with EPC Companies.
• Working in logistics for construction of plants.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
