Role Overview
Senior Accounting Manager, leading controllership team for a key business unit of Corteva Agriscience in Indonesia. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional country and regional leadership teams as well as shared service centre teams, to ensure robust financial governance and compliance. The successful candidate will lead a team of 2-3 accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, strong financial reporting controls and continuous improvement, aligned with Corteva values.
The role will be reporting to regional controller.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate proactively with cross-functional country and regional leadership as well as shared service centre teams to ensure compliance with Group accounting policies
Actively participate in business reviews with cross-functional leadership
Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes of multiple legal entities, ensuring compliance with Group policies and special reporting requirements
Foster adherence to internal controls, operational risk awareness, ethical business practices
Responsible for local statutory audit processes and local regulatory reporting to BKPM and Bank Indonesia
Support executing strategic initiatives driven by Group and country management
Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 accounting staff, setting clear objectives and supporting professional growth
Qualifications & Experience
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Significant experience in senior accounting or finance management roles, preferably within an international business environment or reputable accounting firms (e.g., Big Four)
Demonstrable experience in collaborating across country and regional teams
Strong leadership skills with experience of managing and developing small teams
Fluent communication in English language
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good understanding of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK) and US GAAP is desirable
Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA modules like FI, CO, SD and MM, would be an advantage
