I. Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr Director, Data Strategy & Analytics, this role is responsible for supporting the implementation and integrations of large data assets and analytics into the Ocular CRM. Work with the Sr Director, Data Strategy & Analytics to optimize all reporting platforms. The Sr Associate, Business Analytics must be able to work in a matrix organization to compliantly address the analytical needs of his/her internal customers.

II. Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Lead configuration, customization, maintenance, and support in the effective assessment, development, delivery, and usage of Ocular’s CRM application for Field Sales, Reimbursement and Medical teams.
  • Design, develop, deploy, provide end user support, and maintain dashboards, reports, user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc. while integrating the team’s business needs into Veeva CRM.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines between Veeva CRM/Salesforce and Ocular’s data warehouse.
  • Perform complex data migrations and improve system performance, user adoption, and best practices.
  • Maintain data integrity through influence and collaboration with Finance, IT, Commercial Operations, and proper field training of CRM usage/inputs.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations teams to provide analysis, recommendations, and support integration of all databases/programs impacted by these changes from these teams as they affect the field (e.g., for territory alignment and incentive compensation teams).
  • Gain alignment on appropriate reporting needs and ensure production/generation through Finance, IT or Commercial partners.
  • Coordinate and Assist Finance team with implementation and integration of Veeva CRM, Salesforce and other Commercial Operations activities.
  • Coordinate and/or provide KPI tracking for performance. Manage field-related inquiries regarding performance to plan, account assignments, sales plans, quarterly business reviews, etc.
  • Develop and monitor appropriate metrics as an “early warning system” to provide timely insights and influence corrective actions.
  • Assist with transition activities (CIA, MDM, Field Sales Reporting, CRM integration, etc.) to enhance adaptability with the field teams.
  • Collaborate on technology and data needs with identified stakeholders. Partner with Commercial Support teams to deliver on prioritized needs.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to understand changing regional, territory, and customer environment.
  • Improve current understanding, gap analysis of current field specific tools and processes through value stream mapping and adapting lean and/or best practice principles.
  • Perform other duties as required.

III. Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • SFDC or Veeva CRM Platinum certification
  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in configuring, customizing, maintaining, and supporting CRM applications
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Effective and efficient problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical, inter-personal and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
  • Experience with SalesForce.com / Veeva CRM strongly preferred
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
  • Must be able to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into a cohesive analysis to provide recommendations to key stakeholders in IT, Sales leadership, and Commercial partners

Salary Range
$160,000-$170,000 USD
