Our cutting edge technology, manufacturing proficiency and responsivetechnical services deliver the Tier One capabilities Customers require Responsibilities Source and purchase PCBA electronic components such as ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, PCBs, solder materials, and related items. Monitor and follow through on deliveries to ensure material arrives on time in the factory and gets received and moved to inventory. Identify, evaluate, and develop new local and overseas suppliers. Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, and payment terms with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance including quality, delivery, and service level. Handle material shortages, delivery delays, and quality issues in coordination with suppliers Ensure material availability in line with production schedules and forecasts. Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstocking and production shortages Ensure purchased materials comply with BOM, drawings, and technical specifications. Support supplier audits and compliance requirements (e.g., RoHS, REACH). Collaborate with QA and Engineering teams to resolve NCRs and material quality issues Maintain complete and accurate purchasing documentation. Prepare purchasing reports, cost analysis, and supplier performance evaluations. Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company SOPs and policies Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Engineering, Warehouse, and Finance teams. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities related to new material sourcing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field or 3+ years of directly related work experience can substitute for education. 3+ years of Purchasing or Materials management experience, with electronics production environment preferred. Experience in medical devices or other industry operating under regulatory requirements preferred. Strong experience across a broad range of commodities preferred. Experience in planning, forecasting and responding to drop in demand requirements. Working knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques, DFx, Lean, Six Sigma preferred Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and meet the deadlines. Strong follow-through, proactive planner, can-do attitude, results oriented. Excellent communication skills across organization and with various stakeholders.
