Business and Commercial banking (BCB) Technology Graduate Programme

BCB Technology graduates get to embark on an exciting technology learning journey. The programme provides practical exposure, on-the-job learning, coaching and mentoring and a bespoke learning and development plan to set you up for success and integrate into the world of work. Graduates are exposed to various technologies including, Cloud, Web, Digital, and Automation on various banking platforms and channels.

The programme aims to attract talent with strong technical knowledge who can become thought leaders and trusted advisors. The programme combines theoretical learning and practical experience.

By the end of the programme, you will have gained exposure to and developed skills in:

• Working within technology teams to build, deliver, and maintain technology solutions based on business requirements
• Learning and applying analysis, software development, data analytics, and testing skills
• Participating in meetings and workshops
• Keeping abreast on technology trends

Producing ad-hoc reporting, insights, and analytics to inform business decisions

Final year undergraduate OR honours OR masters degree (completed or currently completing in 2026) in:

• B Com Information Systems
• BSc Computer Science
• Software Engineering 
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronic Engineering
• Robotics/Mechatronics

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be under 30 years of age
• No more than two years’ work experience
• Minimum of 65% average over all years of study
