As a Senior Data Analyst focusing on Social Intelligence, you will be at the forefront of understanding our audience, market, and brand perception through the lens of online conversations. You will be responsible for developing online conversational data into insightful findings which contribute to the optimisation of marketing strategies as well as effect lasting change on businesses. This is a hands-on analytical role that demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for various stakeholders across the organisation.

What You'll do

  • Social Listening Expertise: Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing utilization of social listening tools to extract meaningful insights from unstructured online data.
  • Social Data Trends Analysis: Deeply analyse social data to identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes, providing foresight for strategic planning.
  • Trend Analyst: Act as the internal expert on social and market trends, translating observational data into predictive insights that inform business decisions.
  • Social Strategist Insights: Develop compelling, data-backed insights that directly inform and influence our social media strategy, marketing campaigns, and brand messaging.
  • Measurement/Tracking: Own the end-to-end process of defining, setting up, and validating data measurement for social and conversational data sources.
  • Data Processing: Execute advanced data processing techniques on large, complex, and often unstructured social datasets, ensuring data quality and readiness for analysis.
  • Data Structuring: Design and implement efficient data structures and methodologies to organize and categorize conversational data for scalable analysis and reporting.
  • Dashboard Assembly: Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools, providing real-time visibility into social performance and trends.
  • Mentor junior analysts within the Data & Insights team, fostering a culture of data literacy and analytical excellence.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, with a significant focus on social media analytics, conversational intelligence, or market research
  • Analytical Acumen: A proven track record of providing data-driven insights which result in specific action plans and quantifiable business improvement.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Demonstrable experience with social listening platforms Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, NetBase Quid.
  • Strong command of data visualization tools Tableau, Power BI, Looker for dashboard development and impactful storytelling.
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and entity extraction from unstructured text data is highly desirable.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect granular data insights to broader business objectives and marketing strategies.
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional ability to communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear, concise written and verbal presentations.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of marketing principles, digital advertising, brand management, and customer lifecycle.
