Work with the BTN Production Manager to with the production of 220+ BTN+/Student U streams, this includes but not limited to arranging and monitoring BTN stream transmissions between eight athletics venues. Oversee the BTN Student U Internship program and 40+ students. Help create Tech Books for each show, to be shared with BTN and athletic department. Move, set up, and tear down equipment for each stream. Troubleshoot, service and maintain broadcasting equipment. Coordinate with IT to open proper network ports for streams. Work with university communications, journalism and production programs to assist with training and offer real world opportunities for experience. Help facilitate training of student/freelancers, play-by-play talent, color analysts, and sideline reporters. Help facilitate training of students in production concepts and workflow, camera operation, Graphics, Scorebox, Replay, Director, and Producer. Capture press conferences and media days for basketball and football and feed content back to BTN
Minimum Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
