A skilled and compassionate team is committed to delivering high‑quality outcomes while always placing patient well‑being at the center of everything they do.
What you'll do:
As an Associate Optometrist at this thriving, community‑focused practice, you’ll enjoy a rewarding and engaging workday providing high‑quality care to a diverse patient population, from children receiving routine eye exams to seniors managing age‑related vision changes and patients needing specialized care. You’ll practice with advanced technology, including a Topcon automated phoropter system with autorefractor, topographer, and autolensometer, Optomap imaging, MMD Virtual Reality Headset visual fields, and Eyefinity Encompass EHR, enabling thorough exams and precise diagnoses. Responsibilities include seeing patients, charting in Eyefinity Encompass, assisting with select eyeglass and contact lens patient interactions, and providing direction to support staff on scheduled office days. This part‑time position for approximately 16 hours per week offers a manageable patient load of 10–15 patients per day, allowing time for personalized care and meaningful patient connections.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate brings strong contact lens knowledge along with excellent communication and people skills and has experience in glaucoma management and surgical co‑management. Comfort working with toric, RGP, and multifocal contact lenses is essential, along with a commitment to delivering personalized, high‑quality care. This role is well suited for a passionate optometry professional dedicated to enhancing community vision health, managing diverse patient needs, and staying current with advancements in the field. A collaborative mindset, willingness to be part of a positive team environment, and a genuine interest in continuous learning and long‑term impact are key to success in this position.
Why you'll love Garden Grove:
