JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College/Unit of IST is seeking applicants for part-time job of Research Assistant in AI-Assisted Cybersecurity Operations . The College of IST Cyber Security Lab has a wage payroll position open. We are looking for a summer research assistant who has expertise in the intersection of SOC (security operation center) benchmark development and agentic AI. In particular, the researcher will work on extending the OpenClaw-based agentic AI system to synthesize file system snapshots, network traffic captures, and operating system logs that reflect a ransomware attack incident scenario. Accordingly, the researcher should have adequate experience in both SOC incident response and agentic AI systems.
Job duties to include:
- Extend the OpenClaw-based agentic AI system to synthesize file system snapshots, network traffic captures, and operating system logs that reflect a ransomware attack incident scenario.
- Conduct experiments to validate the agentic AI systems.
- Write a technical report.
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
- The researcher should have adequate experience in both SOC incident response and agentic AI systems.
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $18.
