Subject Matter Expert – Islamic Finance (Arabic – GCC) – Remote

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking experienced professionals in Islamic Finance and Financial Services to contribute to a cutting-edge AI benchmarking project in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). As a Subject Matter Expert, you will create and review high-quality, real-world financial scenarios that evaluate AI systems in GCC-specific contexts. Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands and performs in Shariah-compliant financial environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DELIVER

• Create realistic, domain-specific tasks in Arabic reflecting GCC Islamic finance practices
• Adapt and apply clear scoring rubrics to evaluate AI-generated and human responses
• Review and score submissions for accuracy, regulatory alignment, and professional quality
• Provide expert feedback and contribute to high-quality “gold standard” solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Native Arabic (MSA) with strong professional English proficiency
• 5+ years of experience in Islamic Finance or Financial Services (e.g., structuring, compliance, audit, risk, investment analysis)
• Strong knowledge of Shariah-compliant financial products and frameworks (Murabaha, Ijara, Sukuk, etc.)
• Familiarity with GCC regulatory environments (e.g., central banks, capital market authorities, tax/zakat frameworks)
• Ability to write and evaluate professional-grade financial content in Arabic with high attention to detail
