This role is employed by CBRE and sits within their Experience by Industrious business unit, operated in partnership with CBRE

About the Role

At Experience by Industrious, we’re building a portfolio of services that reimagine the workplace—not just for companies, but for entire office buildings. As part of our tenant experience offering, we partner with leading commercial landlords to deliver amenity and engagement programs that make tenants feel more connected, supported, and productive.

We are looking for a Creative & Marketing Manager to develop and operationalize event strategy, marketing systems, and creative excellence that will drive engagement, consistency, and perceived value for both tenants and ownership. This role sits at the center of creative execution for Experience by Industrious – translating strategy into programs, content, and tools that elevate the tenant experience across a national portfolio.

This role is well-suited to someone with experience across community engagement, marketing, events and activations, branding, and hospitality—someone who can move fluidly between creative thinking and execution.

What You’ll Do

As the Creative & Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for how Experience by Industrious shows up across our Community program – events, marketing content, and communications.

You’ll partner closely with the Director of Community & Marketing to bring ideas to life – translating strategy into clear standards, usable tools, and high-quality outputs that teams can execute across a national portfolio.

Some days you’ll be designing templates or refining messaging. Others, you’ll be shaping an event concept, sourcing creative partners, or helping a team elevate an activation. You’ll move between creative work and execution – ensuring everything we put into the world feels cohesive, intentional, and reflective of the experience we’re delivering.

Your role is equal parts creative and operational: setting the standard, supporting teams, and making sure the work holds up.

Responsibilities

Brand Standards & Creative Quality

  • Own how Experience by Industrious shows up, visually and verbally, across tenant and client touchpoints
  • Maintain clear, usable standards for tone, voice, and design that teams can actually apply day to day
  • Build and evolve templates, examples, and reference materials that make “on-brand” the default, not the exception
  • For select properties, review and refine outputs from local teams – raising the level of clarity, consistency, and overall taste
  • Give direct, actionable feedback that helps teams elevate the quality and consistency of outputs (copy, design, event styling)
  • Ensure everything we put into the world feels considered, cohesive, and reflective of the experience we’re delivering
  • Continuously raise the bar on creative quality and consistency across the portfolio
  • Partner with leadership to evolve brand expression as needed, and ensure updates are effectively rolled out

Events – Ideation, Standards & Field Support

  • Uphold creative and experiential standards across the portfolio
  • Develop event concepts, frameworks, and execution roadmaps that can be deployed across the portfolio (event catalog)
  • Define what “great” looks like by establishing creative standards for events (quality, partners, design, flow) and ensure it shows up consistently across markets
  • Support local teams in executing elevated, on-brand events:
  • Vendor sourcing and partner recommendations
  • Creative direction, event flow and experience design guidance
  • Sourcing materials that elevate look and feel
  • Identify and cultivate a network of best-in-class partners to elevate programming quality
  • Produce trend reports and inspiration decks to keep programming culturally relevant and differentiated

Marketing Systems & Content Production

  • Build and maintain marketing templates and brand toolkits that teams can use easily and consistently (newsletters, signage, social, collateral)
  • Develop marketing materials across digital, physical, and experiential channels
  • Support the creation of presentations, B2B marketing materials, and client-facing decks
  • Coordinate production and distribution of marketing materials with internal teams and external vendors
  • Ensure all materials are accurate, on-brand, and delivered to a high standard of quality

Editorial Content Creation

  • Write and edit copy across formats (emails, newsletters, signage, seasonal campaigns)
  • Produce and edit visual content (photo/video) for social and marketing use
  • Apply an editorial lens to all outputs; with a focus on clarity, tone, and quality
  • Translate brand voice into content that is practical, usable content for local teams
  • Continuously refine messaging to ensure it resonates with both tenants and ownership audiences

Partnerships & Experience Enhancement

  • Source and manage relationships with local and national partners (retail, wellness, F&B, cultural, etc.)
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality vendors and collaborators
  • Support partnership execution across events and activations
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen programming through thoughtful partnerships and sponsorships

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured by the quality, consistency, and clarity of how we show up across the portfolio.

Key indicators include

  • A clear and consistent brand presence across all tenant and client touchpoints
  • Noticeable lift in the quality of events, marketing materials, and on-site execution
  • Local teams using tools and templates effectively, with minimal friction
  • Strong adoption of brand standards across markets
  • Positive feedback from both tenants and landlord partners on programming and communications
  • High-quality partnerships that elevate programming and differentiate the experience
  • Marketing and event outputs that feel thoughtful, cohesive, and well-executed
  • Efficient production and rollout of materials, with minimal rework or misalignment

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in marketing, events, brand, or experience-driven roles
  • Experience designing marketing materials and content across multiple channels (digital, physical, experiential)
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a clear point of view on tone and voice
  • Experience creating or working within brand standards and guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of organization and follow-through
  • Experience supporting or executing events, activations, or brand programs
  • Strong eye for design and attention to detail; experience with tools such as Canva or Adobe preferred
  • Experience working with external vendors and partners
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to give clear, actionable feedback
  • Interest in hospitality, real estate, and experience design

COMPENSATION

The base salary for this role is $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience, skills, and role alignment. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
