Job description
Who You’ll Work With
Arista is looking for highly capable data analysts to transform our data strategy through data and AI-driven decision-making. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team of supply chain and operations experts, IT and NPI engineers to dismantle data silos. The goal is to move Arista from "descriptive" reporting on spreadsheets to models that can show metrics on dashboards, and determine actionable insights.
What You’ll Do
Architect the Analytics Strategy: Define and build the roadmap for manufacturing operations data models, transitioning legacy spreadsheets into scalable dashboards and introducing AI into many models.
Transform Intelligence: Utilize AI to help Arista’s manufacturing organization to determine readiness, material lead times, capacity risks and manufacturing/supply chain resiliency risks. Develop analytics to suggest optimal mitigation strategies before they impact production.
Tooling & Automation: Champion the adoption of leading-edge tools (e.g., Google Big Query, Python, and SQL) to build automated decision-support systems that reduce manual intervention.
Executive Storytelling: Translate complex AI model outputs into actionable insights and "so-what" summaries, using principles to help executive stakeholders drive major decisions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or Business Analytics. A Master’s degree in a quantitative field with a focus on machine learning is highly preferred.
Data: Database query language experience (SQL) and experience with data visualization (PowerBI, Looker). Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for statistical modeling and automated decision logic.
Soft Skills: You should be comfortable explaining models and analytics to upper management.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
Compensation Information:
The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $119,000 - $162,000.
