Senior Tendering Engineer (Civil)

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Senior Tendering Engineer (Civil) to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in Cairo office Egypt.

What you will need to do:

• Analyses tender specifications, drawings, and documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs
• Develop detailed cost estimates including direct and indirect costs
• Prepare and evaluate material and subcontractor enquiries and quotations
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
• Assist in preparing tender schedules and Level 2 programs
• Support the preparation of technical submittals
• Coordinate with internal departments for tender inputs
• Prepare cost estimation reports and present them to management
• Conduct risk and opportunity analysis
• Prepare preliminary budgets and cash flow scenarios
• Assist in contractual reviews and commercial evaluations
• Support joint venture (JV) / consortia tender activities and coordination. 

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• 10+ years of experience in construction industry
• Strong background in Quantity Surveying, Cost Estimation, and Technical Office
• Solid experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost control
• Previous exposure to tendering / pre-contract activities
• Good understanding of contracts, variations, and commercial aspects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Very good command of English
