Logistics planner (Sales & Operations)

The Logistics Planner (S&OP) coordinates among plants, Sales, Purchasing and Production to optimize customer service and costs. This role planning and ensuring fuel availability for kilns by converting production schedules into material needs. The planner communicates with suppliers within set lead times, optimizes material flow considering silo capacities and inventory targets, and prevents storage issues. Responsibilities also include supporting the S&OP process monthly, overseeing weekly master planning, collaborating with Customer Service on daily matters, and analysing supply chain projects.
