Overview 概述 NPI Engineer (Finished Goods) role main scope is to ensure our Finished Goods manufacturing processes are high capabilities, standardized across all suppliers and locations and executed to deliver quality products to the markets without delays in new product introductions or product transfers. This position will develop, monitor and improve Finished Goods manufacturing processes and testing. Engaged and contributing in GPD process for manufacturing optimized designs. Will establish manufacturing standards. Responsibilities 职责 General and Task Management: Developing and implementing NPI standards, i.e. create dedicated OEM manufacturing requirements, checklists, etc. for all product categories. Participate in early GPD stage to ensure right execution of DFM/DFA (DFMA) Maintain Finished Goods Test requirements, standardization and ensure best practices. Responsible for test optimization and standardization: effective and efficient, repeatable and reproduceable testers and fixtures. This includes test coverage optimization, tests repeatability. Standardized test process and equipment across all suppliers and locations. Drives fixtures and testers early and timely development, qualifications and standardizations. Qualifies the manufacturing process, testers and fixtures for all projects. Perform P-FMEA and manufacturing capabilities audits and monitors improvement plans. Coordinates creation of Process Quality Plans. Leads activities around First Pass Yield (FPY) day-to-day monitoring and improvements from very early stage. Quality Control: ensure products meet specified quality standards, (Critical To Quality) CTQ’s and product requirements are translated into the line test procedures. Conducts P-FMEA. Automation and Technology: integrate and optimize automated systems, robotics, and other advanced technologies in manufacturing. Ensure early and proactive engagement of NPI team, integrated into all new products, and completed in a timely fashion. Design and Optimization: design and improve manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment. Design for Manufacturing and Assembly: participates and drive product at early design stage to optimize product design from manufacturing perspective. This should include mistake proofing principles. Monitoring and analyzing manufacturing performance and quality capability Prevents potential manufacturing field issues - advise management of any impact Performs manufacturing assessment from Finished Goods product safety perspective (hi-pots, steam products production, eg.) Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices and future trends for design & product quality management. Self-Management: Anticipates and overcomes obstacles Takes ownership for work, very engaged and results driven Is self-aware, resilient, A self-starter, motivated Focused, target driven with a positive, can-do attitude Performs all other related duties as necessary. Job travel expected to be approximately 60%. Qualifications 资格 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Degree minimum: Bachelor Specific concentration: Engineering Experience level: 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Working Experience in finished goods manufacturing Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices Consumer products experience or equivalent SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR SKILLS REQUIRED: English and Mandarin speaking Good written and verbal communications. Strong analytical skills. Demonstrated good engineer capabilities Proactive rather than reactive to problems. Willing to travel to existing and potential suppliers. This position requires the ability to manage the flow of data, perform analysis, generate summary reports and communicate by voice or data while being connected in the office, at home or while travelling by laptop or mobile device regularly without regard to time zone or day of the week.
