Overview The Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for leading regional activities of the company’s Marketing and Communications function. The role requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise in Marketing and Communications and familiarity with oil and gas operations. The Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices and programs. They will be tasked with solving complex marketing-related problems and work independently with minimal guidance. This position is an Individual Contributor role. The role reports to the US-based Senior Director, Marketing and Communications, and routinely interacts with other members of the global Marketing and Communications team and business leaders. Responsibilities Oversee marketing communication planning, strategy development, and execution for CB&I international businesses (Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia) Lead internal resources in developing content supporting international operations a nd business development initiatives for use in all communications channels, both internal and external, including: corporate website content, regional advertising campaigns, intranet/newsletter content, social media, tradeshows, videos, events, etc. Coordinate regional company sponsorship opportunities and participation at regional tradeshows. Coordinate with US-based Global Marketing and Communications team and other business groups in developing and launching digital and traditional marketing initiatives to support international business development. Coordinate graphic design projects with US-based team to support regional marketing goals with multimedia tools. Provide Communications support for regional HR recruiting efforts. Manage the regional approval processes for announcements and marketing materials. Coordinate regional organizational announcements with HR and business leaders. Coordinate regional employee town halls. Draft internal regional leadership messages and newsletters to improve employee awareness and engagement. Ensure a consistent brand experience across all corporate marketing channels. Leverage relationships with regional industry and trade associations. Develop branding material specific to CB&I’s niche product lines and unique country experience – engaging with internal technical teams and CB&I employees to develop project and country specific materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, STEM or a related field preferred. Five to eight (5 to 8) years of relevant experience in Marketing and/or Communications. Experience working in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries strongly preferred. Professional expertise with social media, newsletter writing, tradeshows and corporate advertising Team player who is comfortable working in a matrixed environment with accountabilities to multiple stakeholders. Ability to work effectively under challenging deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Skills and Behaviors Ability to build constructive and effective relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to create consensus or influence decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional English communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work and build credibility across the business, up to and including senior management level.
