Responsibilities Provides general Medical Assistant guidance to Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery physicians and physician assistants (6 providers)in an outpatient setting in the Weinberg Center for Women's Health and Medicine. The staff member demonstrates competency when providing individualized care to specific patients. Requirements EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED Medical Assistant Program A minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS License Requirements: N/A Certification Requirements: CPR-preferred, but not required Age Specific Care Provided For: Adults Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Word, Excel Microsoft Outlook Epic Performance Manager/NetLearning Computer proficiency and technical aptitude Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Other Requirements: Required to travel to satellite offices. Min USD $18.66/Hr. Max USD $30.79/Hr.
