Within an interdisciplinary team, you will design and develop the electronic hardware for complex fire detection systems. Your primary focus will be on the analog and communication circuits that drive our physical sensor technologies to detect optical smoke characteristics, chemical, and thermal effects, and handle the data exchange with the control unit.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring exceptional product reliability through the application of model-based engineering methods, comprehensive tolerance analysis, circuit simulations, and rigorous testing.
- Full ownership of the product's electrical circuit from the initial concept phase, through development and start of production, until the end-of-life.
- Systematic assessment and statistical analysis of simulation results, reliability tests, and validation data gathered from both laboratory and field environments.
What distinguishes you:
- Education: You hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: You have solid experience in analog circuit design, ideally with 3 or more years of relevant experience, and are comfortable with production and testing processes for PCBAs.
- Know-How: You have a good knowledge of circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSpice or similar) and possess a strong understanding of physical parameters and the ability to see how different system components connect and behave.
