Technical Writer

Your tasks:

► Create and optimize operating instructions for power, measuring, and garden tools worldwide, ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations
► Collaborate with engineering & segment teams to validate technical content
► Brief and manage external agencies, tracking quality, timelines, and up to 80 parallel projects
► Drive paperless documentation initiatives aligned with EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230
► Design and maintain user documentation layouts (PDF & HTML)
► Own and operate Schema ST4 (CMS):
– Manage system, data, metadata, taxonomy & templates
– Create and maintain PLD & OMD layouts
– Act as PO for terminology management and Docupedia (REPTIL)
► Work in a global setup, closely with the Germany-based documentation team

► Degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or similar
► Fluent German & English (C1)
► Strong technical mindset or 4+ years experience in technical documentation
► Solid experience with Schema ST4, plus XML / HTML / CSS basics
► Experience with SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author & Adobe tools (Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
► Ability to create structured, compliant, user-focused content
