What will your role be?
We are looking for an Acoustic Sensor Systems Engineer to perform the following activities:
- Manage the technical integration activities of acoustic sensors within the overall system architecture.
- Define system and integration requirements for acoustic sensors used in sound detection, recognition, and classification applications.
- Develop and maintain the System/Subsystem Specification (SSS) for the acoustic sensor, ensuring requirements traceability, architectural compliance, and consistency with system-level requirements.
- Define the functional and physical architecture of the solution through high-level block diagrams, data flows, and interface definitions.
- Produce and maintain the Interface Control Document (ICD) covering electrical interfaces, communication protocols, and data exchange between the sensor, processing units, and integrated subsystems.
What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies
- Degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in systems engineering and sensor integration activities.
- Knowledge of acoustic sensing systems and audio signal processing principles.
- Experience in writing technical documentation, including SSS and ICD.
- Ability to define high-level architectures, block diagrams, and system interfaces.
- Familiarity with electrical interfaces and communication protocols.
