The Director, HR Digital Enablement & Analytics is a leadership role within National HR, accountable for enabling HR through technology, data, automation and AI across KPMG Canada. This role drives the strategy, execution and performance of HR digital capabilities and analytics, ensuring HR services are scalable, insight-driven and aligned to the firm’s strategic priorities. The role operates at the intersection of HR and IT, acting as the HR Business Owner and Product Lead for HR technology, partnering closely with IT as the Platform and Delivery Owner to deliver secure, scalable and enterprise-aligned solutions. What you will do Lead and govern the enterprise HR technology strategy and multi-year roadmap, ensuring alignment with HR and firm-wide priorities Act as the HR Business Owner and Product Lead for core HR platforms, defining business outcomes, requirements and value realization, while partnering with IT as the platform and delivery owner Define and execute the HR AI and automation roadmap, embedding responsible AI, automation and digital capabilities into HR services Establish and govern enterprise HR data, analytics and insights capabilities to enable data-driven and predictive decision-making Operate within a hybrid HR-IT delivery model, where HR may configure and enable business capabilities (e.g. workflows, service catalogue, user experience) while partnering with IT for architecture, security, integration and platform operations Define and help operationalize clear decision rights across HR, IT and vendors, ensuring effective collaboration without duplication or gaps in accountability Monitor service performance, adoption, automation value realization, data quality and overall digital enablement outcomes Lead and develop a high-performing, future-ready team across HR technology, automation and analytics Partner closely with HR leaders, IT, and external vendors to deliver enterprise HR transformation initiatives What you bring to the role University degree (4 years minimum), preferably in Information Technology or a related field Advanced education or certifications in analytics, HR systems, AI, project or program management are an asset but not required Minimum 10+ years at a senior level, leading HR technology, analytics or digital enablement functions Extensive leadership experience defining and delivering HR technology, analytics and digital transformation strategies in large, complex organizations Experience working in enterprise environments with shared ownership between business (HR) and IT, including demand intake, prioritization and joint delivery models Proven capability leading HR technology, analytics and digital transformation strategies in large, complex organizations Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions while partnering effectively with technical teams Experience operating in hybrid environments where business (HR) teams retain partial ownership of configuration, testing, or vendor delivery, while working within enterprise IT governance (ServiceNow) Experience supporting or preparing for large-scale platform transformations (e.g. HCM implementations such as Workday or SuccessFactors) Strong ability to influence and partner with senior HR and IT stakeholders without direct authority KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $146,000 to $196,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications.
