Job description

To drive the implementation of the Real Estate Services (RES) enablement plan for a small Africa Regions country. To enable the achievement of the Technology and Operations Function's business strategy and goals. To lead, manage and deliver on the RES capabilities with specific focus on Leasing in of space. Property Management, Facilities Management, Technical Services, Logistics, Project Management and Physical Security within a small country.

Minimum Qualification: 

  • First Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction and Physical Planning, Design Studies, Project Management, Engineering Sciences Study Direction, Quantitative Studies

Experience Required :

  • 8 - 10 years experience in Real Estate Management
  • The role requires an experienced individual who is customer focused with proven organisational capability of implementing Real Estate Services projects, gained from a track record of 8 years in functional leadership.

Key Outputs :

  • Identify and deliver fit-for-purpose Real Estate solutions that enable a consistent workplace experience within the Africa Regions country.
  • Implement Real Estate Governance standards and fundamentals for lease, buy, sell and develop within the specific Africa Regions country. Monitor adherence to minimum standards relating to retail and commercial infrastructure development and physical security.
  • Monitor and control adherence to minimum standards for Real Estate Services within the specific Africa Regions country, to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory laws applicable to the country nuances.
  • Drive the implementation of physical corporate infrastructure projects. Maintain and manage facilities for corporate infrastructure.
  • Lead the implementation of the Real Estate Services practical plan to be implemented within the country to ensure alignment and realisation of the Technology and Operations objectives.
