Job description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a manufacturing business unit by building an engaged, high‑performing team and driving safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You will set clear direction, foster accountability, and create an inclusive environment where employees feel supported, developed, and empowered to succeed. Through strong leadership presence, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional collaboration, you will translate plant objectives into daily execution while continuously improving performance, quality, and cost.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and company safety policies while modeling safe behaviors.
  • Lead compliance with food safety, quality, and environmental standards, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Safe Quality Food, and Responsible Business Initiative requirements, and actively participate in audits.
  • Lead line structure team performance through effective Daily Direction Setting meetings that align the team on goals, priorities, and expectations while encouraging open communication.
  • Translate Daily Direction Setting discussions into clear, actionable daily plans; follow up on progress, provide coaching, and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Facilitate Weekly Daily Management System meetings to review operational trends, use data to identify improvement opportunities, and establish measurable objectives.
  • Conduct Monthly Business Unit Reviews by preparing thorough performance analyses and sharing learnings and best practices across business units.
  • Develop and execute ninety‑day performance plans using operational data to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost results.
  • Build capability across the team by managing training plans, validating competencies, and supporting leadership development for frontline leaders.
  • Partner with Research and Development to improve production line capabilities and support successful new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on investigations, coaching, and disciplinary actions to ensure fairness, consistency, and accountability.
  • Monitor ingredient usage and labor utilization to ensure alignment with plant standards and product quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering partners to meet production requirements and support long‑term equipment reliability.
  • Work closely with plant leadership to secure resources, remove barriers, and support continuous learning and professional growth for team members.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred.
  • Three or more years of supervisor‑level experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the food industry preferred.
  • Experience using digital systems and data to inform operational decisions and track performance.
Physical Requirements

You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
