As a Project & Budget Analyst, you will contribute to the achievement of financial and business objectives through timely monitoring and analysis of budgets and resource data for assigned project portfolio. You will work cross-functionally with other departments and functional project leads to complete assigned tasks on time.
What You'll Do: •Responsible for collecting study details to build resourcing model for the moderate and complex studies assigned, with minimal supervision.
- Capture resourcing models into Clarity system based on timelines when roles need to be identified by Resourcing Analysts.
- Reviews the financial management of assigned projects as Start-up Functional Lead for the functional area's portion of a project budget and communicates any financial or bidding concerns to study team, with minimal supervision.
- Performs unit forecasting and updates actual units achieve on projects assigned on monthly basis, until operational Functional Lead is assigned.
- Works closely with project lead to update resource forecasts and unit grids, present and resolve pending issues with resource forecasts, unit grids and contract modifications.
- Assists project team to identify risks, define reasons for unsupported hours, and attends risk meetings as needed.
- Prepares estimates for contract modifications.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or related field or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).
- 2+ years complex Resource or Project management experience (including allocation of resources against budget, forecasting, and completion/coordination of related quantitative and analytical task) is preferred
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
