Job description
We currently have an exciting position available for a Credit Controller, to be based at our branch in Head Office.
You are responsible for
Inclusive of, but not limited to:
- Actively follow up on collections on suspended clients to maximize collections and client retention.
- Review and approve/decline requests for extended payment terms
- Reconcile customer accounts and statements where required.
- Resolve customer queries and credits with the debtor’s team members on ad hoc requests.
- Ensure all suspended customers are escalated and reported to the regional manager with sufficient notes from the debtor's team.
- Assistance with external audit queries.
- Managing the company’s legal debtors' accounts and reporting to Manco.
Package & Remuneration:
Salary: R24 500 - R27 500 CTC per month

You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role:
- Grade 12
- Credit Management Certificate (Level 2 Minimum)
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Sage Intact experience (advantageous)
- At least 5 years of experience in Debtors/Collections
- Highly skilled in accounts collection.
- Be task-oriented.
- Must have medium-level mathematical skills.
- High attention to detail where speed and accuracy are critical.
- Investigative and perseverance skills.
- Data processing skills and accuracy.
