Salary:  $74,448.40 - $82, 305.60 (+ superannuation) dependant on level of experience

About the opportunity

As the Executive Assistant you will provide high level administrative and operational support to our Divisional and Clinical Services Directors. This is a key role assisting them in their day-to-day operations. 

What skills you’ll bring to thrive in this role:

The Executive Assistant to Divisional Directors and Clinical Service Director will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Womens and Childrens program at Heidelberg. The role works closely with senior leadership to manage priorities, and support both strategic and daily operations. The Executive Assistant provides highquality service to internal and external stakeholders, and shows initiative to enable efficient workflows. They will assist the team in meeting strategic goals through managing key administrative functions and communications. 

The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders in a healthcare setting—with strong organisational skills, good judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities. 

What skills you’ll bring to thrive in this role: 

  • Proven experience in an Executive or Personal Assistant role is essential.  

  • Demonstrated ability to support senior executives within a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders.  

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies 

  • Extensive experience managing complex and dynamic diaries.  

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.  

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.  

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.  

  • Experience within a healthcare setting. 

You’re resilient, compassionate and have the ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment. 

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.

  • Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation).

  • Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health's Policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
