We’re now looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join our Auckland team.

The Role
You will deliver high‑quality, industry‑leading electronic security solutions to existing and new clients across New Zealand. This is a hands‑on, senior technical role with influence across design, delivery, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Scope, design, and engineer new security solutions
Design and deliver upgrades and system expansions
Act as on‑site Foreman for larger or more complex projects
Installation, programming, and commissioning of electronic security systems
Provide technical input and product support to BDMs and tender teams
Technical support to clients and internal stakeholders
Prepare detailed project documentation (cable schedules, config sheets, photos, etc.)
Complete project close‑out documentation (as‑builts, CAD drawings, asset updates, monitoring details)
Participate in an after‑hours on‑call roster
Preventative and reactive maintenance
Mentor and support junior technicians
Manage Health & Safety on assigned projects
Contribute general expertise expected of a senior Electronic Security Engineer
What We’re Looking For
Essential
You must hold (or be eligible to obtain and maintain) New Zealand Government National Security Clearance at Secret level or above.
Willingness and ability to travel nationwide
Proven experience delivering electronic security solutions in field environments
Strong, hands‑on experience with CCTV systems, deployment, and support
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and networking
Confident working directly with clients and stakeholders
Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Information Technology (Network & Infrastructure Systems) or equivalent industry experience
Experience with API integrations and working alongside software development teams
Comfortable working across Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related platforms
Preferred Certifications
Bosch, Gallagher, or comparable enterprise security platforms
Network and infrastructure administration certifications
Site Safe
Microsoft ecosystem certifications
