Roquette is seeking a Head of Finance, NORAM. This position is responsible for leading core financial operations across assigned Health & Pharma Solutions (HPS) entities in the US/Canada, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with IFRS and company standards. This role drives financial performance through effective execution, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to continuous improvement and supporting business decision-making.
This position is located in Wilmington, DE or Midland, MI.
Compensation:
The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $122,881-$198,135 for Wilmington, DE, and $161,004-$217-989 for Midland, MI. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
What You'll Do:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal policies
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate financial requirements
Partner with internal and external auditors to support audit activities
Coordination with Tax Management and partner with current Financial Controller
Financial Operations & Close Management
Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
Ensure proper accounting treatment and documentation for financial transactions
Internal Controls & Risk Management
Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks to ensure financial integrity
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks
Support implementation and monitoring of control improvements
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to accounting and finance staff and shared service teams
Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment across functions
Partner with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial processes and operational needs
Financial Analysis & Business Support
Analyze financial results, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods
Provide insights and recommendations to support informed business decisions
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and efficiency
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
8–12 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance
Strong knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP a plus)
Experience in manufacturing or complex operating environments preferred
Experience working with shared service or outsourced accounting teams
ERP experience required (SAP preferred)
Experience with Blackline
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Effective team leadership and collaboration through influence
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, improvement-oriented mindset
Business Travel:
Frequent travel to US sites is required 25%
