Role Overview

At JazzX, we are building a modern cloud-native platform ecosystem focused on scalability, reliability, automation, security, and developer self-service. We leverage Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare, AI/LLM-driven operations, and Agentic workflows to simplify infrastructure management, deployment automation, incident response, and platform operations across multiple environments and customer instances.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer who can design, build, automate, and operate large-scale cloud platforms while driving engineering excellence across infrastructure, networking, security, CI/CD, observability, and platform automation.

This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, ownership mindset, system thinking, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams.

Platform Engineering & Operational Excellence

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Build and manage platform services including networking, authentication, CI/CD, observability, deployment automation, and self-service systems
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using Terraform, GitOps, and modern automation practices
• Design secure network architectures including VNets, private networking, routing, WAF, API gateways, and Zero Trust principles
• Build automated deployment, environment provisioning, and multi-instance platform management workflows
• Improve platform reliability, operational stability, monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, and incident response processes
• Drive operational automation, platform resilience, release governance, rollback strategies, and deployment reliability
• Build developer productivity tooling and self-service workflows for platform operations and environment management
• Contribute hands-on using Python, Go, or modern programming languages to build scalable systems, internal platforms, and automation frameworks
• Apply strong system design, distributed systems, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills across cloud, network, deployment, and infrastructure layers
• Leverage AI/LLM-driven workflows, coding agents, and Agentic systems to improve operational efficiency, automation, incident management, and platform intelligence
• Drive cloud cost optimization, usage visibility, anomaly detection, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, Agile methodologies, release governance, production operations, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
• Strong ownership mindset with focus on scalability, automation, reliability, operational excellence, and developer productivity

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with engineering, security, architecture, and product teams to define platform standards, operational processes, and long-term technical strategy
• Work closely with application teams to improve platform adoption, deployment reliability, and developer experience
• Collaborate with security teams to implement authentication, authorization, governance, compliance, and operational security standards
• Participate in architecture reviews, production readiness reviews, operational planning, and incident management discussions
• Mentor engineers and contribute to platform engineering best practices, technical standards, and documentation
• Drive technical discussions and contribute to platform modernization and intelligent automation initiatives

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
• Hands-on experience managing production-scale Azure environments and enterprise-grade CI/CD systems
• Experience working with Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, infrastructure automation, observability, and distributed systems
• Experience supporting multi-environment and multi-tenant platform operations at scale
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows, operational tooling, or intelligent automation systems is a strong plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership capabilities

• Terraform,GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline Design, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, Python / Go any programming language

Networking & Security

• Cloudflare Gateway / WAF, API Security, Authentication & Authorization, SSO Integration (Okta, Entra ID), Network Security and Zero Trust concepts

Observability & Operations

• Monitoring and Alerting, Logging and Tracing, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Engineering

AI & Platform Intelligence

• LLM-based operational workflows, Agentic automation systems, AI-assisted incident analysis and remediation, Intelligent anomaly detection and operational insights
