WHAT’S THE MISSION YOU’LL DRIVE

Protect Addi’s competitive advantage by building a resilient, zero-trust infrastructure while delivering a frictionless IT experience that empowers every employee to work at peak velocity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Achieve a 99% resolution rate for all IT requests within established SLAs by optimizing the Asana ticketing workflow, ensuring technical hurdles never impede the company's operational velocity.
  • Eliminate unauthorized access risks by integrating Zero-Trust principles across 100% of Google Workspace components and deploying a robust SSO/Secure LDAP framework within the first 6 months.
  • Ensure 100% of corporate devices meet CIS benchmarks and internal hardening standards through the automated enforcement of MDM (Mobile Device Management) and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies.
  • Maintain 100% uptime for critical network integrations and resolve 100% of SIEM security alerts within defined response windows by implementing proactive firmware lifecycle management and real-time monitoring.
  • Recover at least 20% of the IT team's weekly capacity by identifying recurring manual tasks (e.g., onboarding, access requests) and replacing them with automated scripts or workflow integrations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Technical Expertise & Experience
  • 4-5 years of proven experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or Cybersecurity roles, preferably in high-growth startups.
  • Deep mastery of Google Workspace Administration and corporate IT infrastructure management (servers, networks, and endpoints).
  • Strong background in managing hybrid environments (macOS, Windows, Linux) with a focus on scalability.
  • Security & Compliance Mastery (Zero-Trust Mindset)
  • Hands-on experience implementing Zero-Trust frameworks, including SSO, Secure LDAP, and advanced Chrome security settings.
  • Proven track record of managing MDM and DLP policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001 or PCI-DSS.
  • Expert knowledge in hardening devices against industry benchmarks and resolving SIEM alerts within strict SLAs.
  • Automation & Scripting Proficiency
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Apps Script) to automate recurring IT tasks and workflows.
  • Experience integrating different platforms (e.g., Asana, HRIS, Identity Providers) to streamline onboarding and offboarding.
  • Ability to reduce operational overhead by at least 20% through continuous process optimization.
  • Analytical Problem Solving
  • Leverages data and system logs to identify root causes and mitigate risks through proactive measures.
  • Implements "permanent fixes" rather than "temporary patches," significantly reducing ticket reoccurrence rates.
  • Stays calm and maintains technical rigor during high-pressure situations or security incidents.
  • Radical Ownership & Initiative
  • Anticipates future infrastructure needs and independently identifies opportunities to improve team effectiveness.
  • Exhibits a self-motivated drive to learn new technologies and take end-to-end responsibility for projects.
  • Shows "bias for action" by fixing gaps in documentation or security before they are flagged by others.

  • Translates complex technical concepts into clear, accessible guidance for non-technical teammates.
  • Partners effectively with other departments (People, Finance, Eng) to address their unique IT needs and pain points.

HOW THE HIRING PROCESS LOOKS LIKE

We believe in a fast, transparent, and engaging hiring experience that allows both you and us to determine if there's a great fit. Here’s what our process looks like:

  • Step 1: People Interview (30 min) A conversation with a recruiter or hiring manager to get to know you, your experience, and what you're looking for. We’ll also share more about Addi, our culture, and the role.
  • Step 2: Initial Interview (50 min) A more in-depth conversation with the IT Lead, where we explore your skills, experience, and problem-solving approach. We want to understand how you think and work.
  • Step 3: Deep Dive Interview (30 min) You'll spend 30 minutes with one of our senior leaders getting to know each other — how you think, how you work, and how you show up as a teammate. This is a two-way conversation: we want to understand what drives you, and you should leave knowing whether Addi feels like the right place to grow.
  • Step 4: Technical Interview (60 min) You'll meet with three members of our IT & Security team for a structured conversation covering the core pillars of the role: Networking, Security, and Software. This is less about reciting theory and more about how you think and solve problems, bring examples from your experience.
  • Step 5: Co-Founder Interview If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
