Testing Technician

Overview

Do you have an interest in the exercise science/kinesiology world, an outgoing personality, and love to interact with people?

Fit For Work is hiring a Healthcare Technician to work with our post-offer employment testing team onsite at our client in Temple, TX. You will be working alongside Physical and Occupational Therapists performing hands-on health screenings such as blood pressure, heart rate, cardiovascular step test, and physical agility assessments. Heavy lifting is involved, as this position has multiple physical demands. This is a fast paced, hands on role. This might be an ideal position for a college student who might be seeking to apply to PT/OT school, or in a Kinesiology/Ex Science program.

Schedule: Part Time at 24 hours per week, M-F shifts

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates will possess

• Strong interest and/or experience in a health-related field (exercise science/kinesiology/fitness)
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• High level of professionalism and dependability
• Ability to provide careful documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• This position does not require a college degree.
