GCS Malta is seeking a Software Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading software companies. The chosen individual will be responsible for writing well-designed, testable code, troubleshooting and upgrading systems, as well as contributing to the CI and release pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Writing well-designed, testable code
• Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing systems
• Identifying problems and developing innovative solutions
• Assisting with the team’s collaborative design and planning processes
• Contributing to the CI and release pipeline
• Liaising with various departments

If you are in possession of a Degree in Computer Science with previous working experience within a similar position, then this one’s for you!

Good knowledge of Agile Software, Python, Javascript, Node.js, React, Git and Docker is considered an asset. Experience using Rust, Go, C++ is considered an asset. Knowledge of the Cosmos or Substrate SDKs is considered a plus.

One must be pro-active and meticulous, possessing strong communication and organisational skills. The individual must also be capable of working to tight deadlines and within a team-oriented environment.

Fluency in the English language is considered a must. Knowledge in any additional languages is considered a plus.
