Job description
The Digital Marketing Manager, will drive paid digital marketing efforts at PowerScout with a focus on accelerating customer growth. This is a hands-on and critical position, ultimately responsible for developing and executing the company’s digital growth agenda in terms of customer count, spend and revenue.
Our ideal candidate would have hands-on experience of managing paid digital marketing campaigns especially in SEM, display and paid social for digital marketing agencies. Someone who embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, pays strong attention to detail and wants to be a part of the next big thing would be a great fit at PowerSout. This is a high impact role that can redefine how home improvement marketing is done – combining proprietary targeting algorithms with sophisticated digital marketing. Opportunity to manage $1+MM annual budget and grow it many fold. Build a scalable digital funnel that expands across the country. You'll be working with our in-house data scientist and using an experimental mindset relentlessly develop and deploy new campaigns.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Shaping and driving the digital marketing strategy
· Day to Day management and optimization of PowerScout’s Search and Display campaigns
· Testing new ad copy, creatives, landing pages and strategies to optimize conversions
· Testing new advertising channels and developing and executing plans to scale new channels as they are proven out
· Deliver on growth goals, and ensuring excellent execution of digital media strategy and creative development
· Playing an active leadership role in adopting best practices & innovation across all digital platforms
· Playing a critical role in partnering with the Technology team to define the road map, and deliver the tools, technologies, and data infrastructure that will enable better targeting, personalization, and decision-making capabilities, across all of our digital channels
· Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
· 2+ years of experience working for a digital marketing agency and specializing in SEM / Paid Social
. Managed $1+ MM in annual digital marketing budget
· Significant experience with Google Adwords and Facebook platform
. Extremely analytical and a zeal for constantly creating new campaigns and A/B testing. Excel ninja preferred.
· Experience with the DoubleClick stack preferred
· Experience managing display campaigns preferred
· Hands-on experience with 3rd-party A/B testing tools such as Optimizely or VWO
· Optimizing landing pages and funnels
· Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag manager etc.)
