Principal Specialist QA- Group Leader

QA Group Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Managing a team of Quality Assurance Professionals
• Setting goals for the team
• Evaluating Staff
• Training Staff
• Maintaining Quality Assurance skills up to date as it relates to GMP, GLP and ISO 17025 requirements
• Maintain tobacco-related compliance knowledge, e.g. Tobacco Products Manufacturing Procedures

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Very strong computer skills; excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in LIMS.
• Strong technical laboratory skills.
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain self-motivation
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills in person.
• High level of professionalism; professional appearance as a client-interfacing ambassador of the company
• Strong customer service orientation
• LEAN green belt, Statistical Process Control, CQM, CQE or equivalent certification.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

 

• The position is full-time, M- F 8 am to 5 pm
• May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
