Provides the team with adequate training, coaching and mentoring in order to develop their conceptual accounting skills, ensure development and proper career paths. Payroll Processing Manages the monthly payroll and payroll activities (i.e. annual leaves, loans, advances, attendance, etc.) of companies to ensure timely and error-free payment of salaries. Prepares income tax & MOL reports to ensure submission on time. Prepares the payroll budget & all related charges monthly to determine the annual cost of payroll vs sales budget. Processes all Journal Vouchers related to payroll “i.e. Salaries, NSSF, Transport allowance, Incentives, paid leaves, mobile allowance, Car Allowance, Hospitalization Employees Balances “in order to reconcile the balances in the General Ledger with that of the Payroll System. Checks and clears the monthly balances of employees' personal statements to minimize accumulation of employees' account payables. Rewards Administration Follows the implementation of employee compensation structures, benefits, and allowances to ensure consistency and alignment with company policies. Supports compensation benchmarking activities by consolidating and providing market data. Monitors the proper implementation of incentive schemes and follows up with relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to defined processes. Ensures all compensation-related data is accurate, updated, and properly reflected in the payroll system. Staff Services Prepares and maintains employee-related (exit clearances, certificates issuance, loan processing etc. ensuring proper documentation and timely reporting). Reporting & Analysis Prepares and reviews reports related to payroll, compensation, and rewards to support decision-making. Ensures timely reporting of HR KPIs related to payroll and employee costs. Employee Relations Provides advice and guidance to employees and managers on personnel practices, company policies, and labor law matters to ensure consistency and compliance. Oversees and supports the handling of disciplinary actions in line with company policies and law, ensuring fairness, consistency, and proper documentation. Life and Medical Insurance Coordinates and negotiates all insurance plans with insurance companies on life, medical insurance, claims and billings to ensure full utilization of benefits. NSSF Processes and finalizes end of service settlement upon employee request and make sure to submit on time. Prepares all NSSF and reconciliation reports to ensure submission on time. TM Purpose Acts as a role model by living Transmed Purpose on daily basis. Academic Education & Professional Certifications BA in Accounting or similar field. Operational & Managerial Experience Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or similar position. Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role. Technical Skills Excellent computer skills: Microsoft office (advanced Excel is essential). Very Good knowledge of labor, NSSF and MOF regulations. Very Good knowledge of accounting principles. Very Good reporting skills. Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., JDE) is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity and professionalism.
