About the Role:

The Director of Growth will lead paid media strategy, campaign performance, and team leadership. This role is responsible for driving innovative, data-informed growth strategies while ensuring operational excellence across the Growth organization.

As a senior leader within the team, this person will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, helping shape media direction, mentor team members, and elevate overall client performance across paid search, paid social, programmatic, and emerging media channels.

The ideal candidate combines deep digital marketing expertise with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role requires someone who can operate both strategically and operationally while guiding high-level media strategy, scalable processes, team development, and executional excellence.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead paid media strategy across automotive and enterprise accounts, driving performance across search, social, programmatic, and emerging channels.
  • Develop strategic recommendations, testing initiatives, and optimization frameworks aligned with client business goals.
  • Mentor and develop team members, helping elevate media expertise, strategic thinking, and client leadership skills.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for campaign strategy, troubleshooting, and performance guidance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to support campaign success and client growth.
  • Oversee campaign pacing, resource planning, and overall account performance to ensure delivery against KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and scalable best practices across the Growth organization.
  • Lead client-facing performance reviews, strategic planning discussions, and growth recommendations.
  • Translate campaign data and performance trends into actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of automotive, paid media, and AdTech trends to drive innovation and platform best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in paid media, growth marketing, or digital advertising, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise across paid search, paid social, and programmatic platforms (Google Ads, Meta, StackAdapt, DV360, etc.).
  • Proven experience developing media strategies that drive measurable business growth and client performance.
  • Strong leadership and team development experience, including mentoring and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced agency or media environment.
  • Agency experience preferred; automotive industry experience highly preferred.

Compensation Package:

The total compensation package is made up of base compensation, equity, and benefits.

New York Base Pay Range: $135,000 - $150,000
