This role is based in our K11 Atelier office.

Role Overview

We are currently looking for an Account Manager for our newly launched Shanghai Hongqiao Tech Week. As a localized version of London Tech Week, this premier global technology festival brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to explore the future of tech. From cutting-edge AI developments to groundbreaking startups, Shanghai Hongqiao Tech Week showcases the best of what the tech ecosystem has to offer. Whether you're looking to network with visionaries, discover emerging trends, or gain insights from world-class speakers, this is the event that connects the global tech community.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Client Development: Identify and pursue target clients, with a focus on: Global tech giants, Industry leaders in AI, smart manufacturing, biotech, new energy, cloud computing, professional services, investment firms, and industry ecosystem partners.
  2. Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales plans to meet sponsorship and booth sales targets.
  3. Strategic Account Management: Identify, develop, and manage a portfolio of 10–20 key accounts.
  4. High-Value Deal Closure: Lead complex negotiations for premium sponsorship packages, customized partnership programs, and multi-year commitments.
  5. Client Success: Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring seamless delivery of contractual rights (speaking slots, exhibition space, branding, VIP networking, etc.) and high satisfaction.
  6. Opportunity Mining: Deeply understand each key account's business goals and propose value-added collaborations beyond standard packages (e.g., exclusive side events, white papers, CEO roundtables).
  7. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with content, marketing, and operations teams to ensure key account commitments are fulfilled at the highest quality.
  1. Bachelor's degree or above; 6+ years of sales or account management experience in B2B exhibitions, tech events, or media.

  2. Proven track record of closing high-value deals  

  3. Existing network of decision-makers within global tech companies or leading Chinese tech firms.

  4. Strategic thinking, exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.

  5. Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
