Checkout Team Member (Casual) - The Warehouse, Bell Block

Please note this is a casual position to work on an as needed basis - there are no set hours. We operate 7 days a week, full availability/flexibility is an advantage.

We're looking for people who are customer-focused with a positive attitude and a great work ethic! As a casual team member your day will be varied with customer interaction, and working in a variety of areas. 

All casual roles get involved with most areas of the store so no two days are the same.  Loads of variety, people contact and opportunity to learn and progress. We are seeking real team players, with a great attitude and a tone of initiative to assist our customers with product queries and service.

Our stores are fast-paced environments and you must be keen to dig in where needed to get things done. We need people who like working and sparking conversations with customers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience in store.

Ideally you would have: 

• Some experience in retail, hospitality or a customer-facing role - preferable but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Available at short notice, during school hours and on weekends
• Strong merchandising standards 
• The ability to undertake some heavy lifting, climbing ladders and being on your feet for long periods of time
