Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Compliance Officer to join our organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a key position for UAE Nationals who will ensure that all procurement activities align with local regulations, organizational policies, and international best practices. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining compliance standards, mitigating procurement risks, and supporting audit functions across our procurement operations.

  • Monitor and analyze procurement transactions to ensure compliance with UAE regulations, local laws, and organizational procurement policies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procurement compliance frameworks and standard operating procedures
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration
  • Prepare comprehensive compliance reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions to procurement teams and management
  • Coordinate with internal audit functions to support compliance reviews and investigations
  • Maintain and update compliance documentation, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory changes
  • Provide guidance and training to procurement staff on compliance requirements and best practices
  • Manage vendor compliance verification processes and maintain vendor compliance records
  • Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies on procurement-related compliance matters
  • Analyze procurement contracts for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements prior to execution
  • Track and report on key compliance metrics and performance indicators
  • Proven experience in procurement compliance, regulatory compliance, or related compliance functions (minimum 5 years)
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE procurement regulations, local compliance standards, and federal procurement requirements
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor management practices
  • Experience with compliance auditing, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, procurement management software, and compliance management tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced organizational and time management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are preferred
  • Experience preparing compliance documentation, audit reports, and regulatory submissions
  • Knowledge of international procurement standards and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • UAE National status (mandatory requirement)

Advance level in Primavera skills

Working time: 8am to 5pm & 6 days per week
