Job description
The Supply Chain Modeling & Analytics Consultant will lead analytical workstreams that support supply chain modeling, digital‑twin analysis, forecasting, and scenario evaluation. Translates analytical outputs into recommendations for planning, logistics, engineering, and operations leaders.
The work:
- Data Preparation & Quality: Oversee preparation and validation of complex supply‑chain datasets to ensure accuracy and scalability for modeling and analytics workflows.
- Analytics & Forecasting: Perform deeper descriptive and statistical analysis, build repeatable forecasting approaches, and guide junior team members in analytical best practices.
- Scenario & Model Support: Design and execute scenario and sensitivity analyses within existing digital‑twin, network, or simulation models and synthesize operational implications.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop dashboards and analytical narratives that clearly communicate findings to client and internal leadership stakeholders.
- Documentation & Mapping: Create structured, repeatable documentation for analytical logic, assumptions, methodologies, and data flows.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Lead discussions with planning, logistics, engineering, and operations teams to shape analytical needs and solution approaches.
- Team Leadership & Quality: Guide junior analysts, review outputs, and ensure quality and consistency across analytical deliverables.
Here’s what you need:
- 3–6 years of experience in analytics, data science, or quantitative supply‑chain analysis roles.
- Proven experience owning analytical workstreams or modules in client delivery.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R; experience building dashboards (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience conducting statistical analysis, scenario testing, or forecasting.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable business insights.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts or reviewing analytical work products
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
