Responsible for local industrial, personnel and program security functions for a geographically dispersed program operating at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) and Ascension Island (AI) [alternately: an OCONUS remote location.] Supports the V2X corporate Industrial Security Operations Manager in administering DoD and industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Work includes personnel security actions, staff ISOPREP, foreign national management, access control, classified storage oversight, and routine administrative security functions for Secret level operations. Initiative and sound judgment are required. Responsibilities Major Job Activities Provide support to the administration of DoD and industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company policies for non IT security matters across PSFB and Ascension Island [alt: the remote OCONUS location]. Manage personnel security actions for all required personnel at PSFB and AI. Process and maintain security clearances using DISS, including reviewing SF 86 packages and initiating actions through NBIS. Conducts ISOPREP activities for program staff Assist with continuous vetting checks, investigations, and adjudication support. Conduct and assist with personnel security briefings and debriefings. Support foreign national (FN) management, including escort coordination, FN CAC processing, and visit authorization management. Administer CAC card and FN CAC card actions and serve as a liaison for ETOS help desk ticket support. Manage document control, classified material handling, and oversight of program closed areas and classified storage (safes). Coordinate with DCSA, Space Force representatives, contractors, and government personnel; attend meetings and briefings as the program’s security representative. Support physical access control, classified courier requirements, and routine COMSEC related activities as needed. Assist in investigations of security incidents, losses, or violations and recommend corrective actions. Help resolve program-specific issues, including restoration of classified storage access and maintenance of SIPR room and safe combinations. Support continuity efforts to eliminate single points of failure in the program’s security structure. Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements. Shall travel to Ascension Island when required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Experience: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. 0-2 years of related industrial security field experience with a Bachelors; or an Associates with 4 years' of related industrial security field experience; or 6 years' of related industrial security field experience with a high school diploma. DoD Personnel Security (PERSEC) field experience. Experience supporting National Industrial Security Program Secret Clearance : Currently enrolled in DoD CE with active Secret eligibility Other Requirements: Must be a United States Citizen. Business Acumen : Working knowledge of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Working knowledge of the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) Working knowledge of the Security Information Management System (SIMS) Working knowledge of DoD Personnel Security procedures including but not limited to Authorization for Smart Card Login Access (ASCL), and Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS) Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Works well in a team environment. Ability to multi-task. Superior data entry skills.
