SCADA OPERATOR (B3)– ENGINEERING REF79223H (ENG: DEWATERING) INTERNAL ONLY

To monitor and assess production information relayed to the Dewatering Central Control Room from the various (dewatering) sections and to co-ordinate and control the (dewatering) operations, operating staff and equipment to achieve optimal efficiency.

• Grade 12 (20 points over 5 subjects, including English ( E symbol ) or Equivalent National Senior Certificate
• Valid code B driver’s license  (Manual Transmission).
• One-year operating experience as a Dewatering Operator/Pump Attendant or Engineering Assistant
• Previous acting experience as a Process Controller will be an added advantage
• Successful completion training as a Dewatering Assistant/Pump attendant or working as an Assistant at Dewatering Engineering team with at least one year experience in the pumping environment
• Good understanding of dewatering operational processes and procedures
