About you
We are looking for Mechanical Engineers to provide OTIS parts and products operations support through the delivery of engineering solutions, local vendor group orders, plant design applications, analysis & technical support.
Casual basis - 3 x a week
Based in the Sydney office
Reports to the Engineering Manager
As a Mechanical Engineer, your key responsibilities include
Delivery of engineering solutions, local vendor group orders, and plant design applications
Support the growth of the Modernization and Building Existing Business.
Effectively communicate technical issues between Operations and Engineering.
Investigating risks associated with new and existing designs.
Provide technical and internal client service excellence while meeting client objectives and deadlines.
Maintain and work on the Quality System, including procedures and manuals.
Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes.
Provide technical support to the Field Operations Department and the operations teams.
What you will need to be successful
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics) or related qualifications.
Has work experience within construction, mining, and design (AutoCAD, 3D Modelling, familiar using CREO or Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Modelling).
Proven experience within the Engineering or Lift industry will be preferred.
Good knowledge of using technology, including mobile applications and computer-based reporting systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet, database management) to analyze data and trends.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
Have exceptional time management skills and possess strong organizational abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and results-driven.
