Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Analyst to act as the key bridge between senior business stakeholders and technology/data teams. In this role, you will work closely with Directors and VP-level leadership to gather business requirements, manage delivery expectations, identify dependencies, and support the successful execution of data and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, stakeholder management, and business requirement documentation.

Key Responsibilities

· Partner with Directors and VP-level stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document complex business requirements.

· Prepare detailed BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents).

· Work closely with data engineering, IT, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment.

· Manage stakeholder expectations on timelines, risks, blockers, and project milestones.

· Identify cross-functional dependencies and proactively communicate challenges and mitigation plans.

· Use SQL to extract, analyse, validate, and interpret large datasets for business insights.

· Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

· Translate business requirements into clear reporting specifications and data models for technical teams.

· Ensure data consistency, quality, and accuracy across systems and reporting platforms.

· Present analytical findings, trends, and actionable insights to senior leadership.

· Support process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and successful execution of deliverables.

Key Skills/ Job specifications:

· Strong hands-on expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.

· Strong experience in Power BI including dashboard development, DAX, data modelling, and reporting solutions.

· Proven experience in preparing BRDs, FRDs, and requirement documentation.

· Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership.

· Strong understanding of delivery coordination, dependency management, and project timelines.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and complex business environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within technology or data-driven environments.

· Experience working with large enterprise datasets and reporting ecosystems.

· Exposure to process improvement and workflow automation initiatives.

· Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams.

· Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage ambiguity effectively.
