Registered Nurse – 299-Bed Psychiatric Hospital in Austin, Texas

Join our team as a full-time Registered Nurse on a temporary assignment at a 299-bed psychiatric hospital in Austin, Texas! In this position, you will provide patient care, manage emergencies, and ensure compliance with facility standards. This assignment may be extended based on business needs.

What You Need to Know:

• Full-time, temporary assignment expected to last through March 31, 2025
• Salary: $40.00 per hour
• Anticipated 25 hours per week
• Night shift and weekends required
• Additional training for 13 consecutive days from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients, including managing psychiatric and medical emergencies.
• Complete nursing assessments for new admissions.
• Perform computer data entry.
• Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies.
• Must have house supervisor/staffing experience.

• Associate degree in Nursing or higher
• Valid Texas RN license
