Job description
The POSITION: We are looking for a hands-on QA Engineer for manual and automated testing. You will join a growing company with different FinTech business lines in the fields of payments, know- your-customer, compliance and messaging. You will contribute to the creation and execution of manual and automated tests and actively participate in understanding and improving requirements in close collaboration with the business and the whole development team. In addition, you will contribute to our efforts of constantly improving our test approach. YOU: The ideal candidate will have a valid experience in the field of Software testing. Automation is an advantage. But we would be willing to train/ educate on automation if you truly desire to master it and advance in your career with us. You should be passionate about designing, implementing, and running manual and automated tests and need to be willing to constantly improve and challenge our approaches, bring in new ideas, but also be open-minded. You’re hungry to learn and constantly improving yourself, broadening your scope and deepening your knowledge. With us you will… Plan and execute functional and regression testing scenarios (manual and automation). Use AI tools as part of daily work to speed up test design, defect analysis, documentation, exploratory testing, test data preparation, and similar tasks. Participate in the full development lifecycle , starting from design, development and all the way until deployment to production as well as post-production support. Work closely with product team to analyze business requirements and understand the new features, identify gaps, and cross application impacts. Work in close collaboration with the development team to verify that the changes are well tested and of a high quality. Ensure optimal test coverage for the best quality of the software deliverables. Report defects with all necessary details and follow-up with the development team in a timely fashion, provide inputs for bug fixing prioritization. Monitor the automated test suite reports and investigate failures, correct tests where needed or report defects. Identify gaps in test automation coverage and propose new scenarios to be automated. Create and maintain testing documentation (features, processes, testing know-how, etc.).
