Supervisor Mechanical Workshop

Are you energized by hands-on engineering, fast prototyping and guiding toward technical excellence? As supervisor mechanical workshop you coordinate the mechanical workshop, an essential hub for rapid prototyping, jig manufacturing and rework activities that support multiple disciplines and teams. Your responsibilities You create mechanical prototypes and jigs that meet strict deadlines, specifications and quality standards. You design jigs independently and/or in collaboration with the mechanical R&D team in Creo Parametric & Windchill. You perform rework on production parts requiring revision updates. You manage and supervise outsourced work, ensuring timing, quality and cost efficiency. You supervise, plan and coordinate workshop personnel. You take ownership of workshop stock: ordering, labeling and organizing storage (raw materials, mills, drills, screws, inserts, ….). You manage machine investments and maintenance and equipment upgrades. You supervise the application of the machinery safety standards. You oversee the entire workshop facility and keep it running smoothly.
