Preschool Childcare Worker

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers in Lake Orion, MI is actively seeking a childcare worker for one of our Preschool classrooms. In this entry level role in early childhood education, you will provide support and coverage to the teaching staff so they can utilize their planning time effectively. You will also provide coverage during breaks and lunches to maintain staffing ratios and be an integral part of the closing team, greeting parents at the end of the day when they come to pick up their children. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in early childhood education, offers training and development and potential for advancement within the organization. Position Detail: Status: Regular, full-time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI Pay range: $14-$17/hour- depending on education, certification or degree and years of experience Additional compensation is offered if willing to drive a 14-passenger bus (valid chauffeur's license required)

You must be at least 18 years of age ( required ) Must be certified in CPR/First Aid ( can be completed after hire ) Previous experience in a childcare setting or private nanny ( preferred ) Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must Essential functions: Keeps children safe through health and safety, supervision and by using name to face often. Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors. Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures Support lead and assistant teacher Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine
