Intel's most efficient CPU Technology team is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Circuit Design Engineer to join our efforts in shaping the future of next-generation CPU programs. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing high-performance, low-power custom circuits that meet stringent power, performance, and area (PPA) targets. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will directly contribute to Intel's cutting-edge advancements, enabling groundbreaking innovations and driving our industry leadership forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom circuit designs for Intel's next-generation CPU programs, ensuring high performance and low power consumption.
- Perform circuit simulation, design verification, and technical readiness reviews to meet PPA goals.
- Execute design verification using industry-standard signoff methodologies, including functional equivalency verification, timing analysis, noise analysis, and layout checks.
- Analyze and optimize power, reliability, and signal integrity for custom circuit blocks.
- Apply knowledge of advanced CMOS technology and physical layout techniques to achieve high efficiency and functionality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies for circuit design and verification.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in custom circuit design for advanced CMOS technologies with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools for circuit design and verification.
- Deep understanding of advanced CMOS technology and physical layout techniques.
- Experience with circuit simulation, timing analysis, noise/signal integrity analysis, and layout design rule checks.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, collaborative environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and solutions.
