What you will do
Responsible for the design and development of electrical assemblies of industrial manufacturing equipment, as well as its control system
Develop solutions to improve equipment performance and resolve structural issues
Work closely with customers defining requirements and study the feasibility
Lead electrical development activities, and estimate the time required and the cost involved
Conduct pre-studies (calculations, modeling, experiments, measurements) and risk assessments to verify concepts and adjust the global design if necessary
Work in a technical team to execute development activities to meet system performance requirements, including designing, functional modelling, prototyping, testing and release
Execute design activities to meet system/unit performance requirements
Manage electrical design specifications and related documents
Support customers & field service engineers on equipment optimization, problem-solving and troubleshooting activities
Conduct component, module & system failure analysis & implement corrective actions on customer complaints
Manage electrical engineering processes in ITEC Malaysia production facilities
What you will need
University graduate MSc/BSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Experience in Semiconductors/Electronics/RFID/LED industrial machinery industry
Solid experience in PDM/PLM software, preferably with Teamcenter
Proficient in AutoCAD and Altium Designer, knowledge of Arduino/SPICE/C++ a plus
High level knowledge in DFM, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D and Poka-Yoke methods
Knowledge on related quality and safety standards like ISO, IATF, SEMI, IEC, CE, UL, OHSAS, EMC, ESD
Experience in component engineering for cost reduction and end-of-life replacement
Possess excellent technical troubleshooting, decision-making and creative-thinking skills
Good interpersonal skills and able to deliver results through determination and teamwork
Excellent communication skills in English
Flexibility to travel overseas and to HK and Netherlands
